What happens when a man cannot see what is right in front of Him? Sometimes we do not see what we are supposed to see because we become blinded to the realities that seem to filter out into the world. It is like a leaf that falls from the tree and hits the ground and withers away. It becomes lost, it dies. But yet when we lose our way, it is like we die temporarily.

But then we we may hit rock bottom in our lives and we see ourselves as naked in the world. Naked not in a sense of being unclothed but naked in that our souls become lost. And it is quite often in that instance that we cannot see past our noses, that we seek within ourselves the power that only God can give.

If we chose to ignore the power of God and let ourselves blow away in the wind, we are not only doing ourselves harm, but we also deny happiness to those around us who wish to see us in the light of love and caring. They want what is best for us. No matter how bad you feel and no matter how bad the world may seem, we can seek God for help and salvation. He gives us guidance. Not just in protection from temptation, but also guidance in how to grow beyond our own selfish desires and start to bloom like the reddest of Roses in spring time.

Isaiah 28:29 This also comes from the LORD of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. NKJV

We can choose to accept Gods love or we can whither away into madness. We can choose to give that love to others or we can choose not to and sink further into oblivion. The love of God needs to be shared. It is indeed a blessing when we can seek Gods guidance and He blesses us with His love and His caring.

God's love knows no bounds. So we can choose to accept it or we can slip into the abyss that does nothing but make us weep at the thought of a lonely existence away from ultimate love and caring. God is there for you and all you have to do is seek His guidance often.

This is not easy for some people because the wants and the desires of the world envelope us as if in a warm blanket, but instead more like a ice cold winter night where sleep does not come and life is not fruitful.

It is not easy to change for the better, especially when evil beckons us at the door. It seeks our weaknesses and exploits them. It wraps us in its horror and deceit and unusual pain and makes us suffer often more than we can bare.

Job 37:10-12 By the breath of God ice is given, And the broad waters are frozen. 11 Also with moisture He saturates the thick clouds; He scatters His bright clouds. 12 And they swirl about, being turned by His guidance, that they may do whatever He commands them on the face of the whole earth. NKJV

But yet God is there for us when we ask Him.

Don't let another day go by without Gods love. Don't let temptation run rampant in your life, starving you of salvation. Don't let the cares of this world get you down. Don't let satan's power make you falter and vacuum all love from you. Instead, seek God often and make Him a part of your life.

This is not to say that a life of following God is easy, especially with evil lurking at the corners of your conscious mind. It is at these times when we need to embrace the thought of Gods love and His ultimate salvation. It is a time when we need to pray for our fellow men and women and hope that they will someday soon embrace Gods will like the warmest of blankets and seek His guidance often.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a chance that you have of receiving God's love and His caring ways. Pray often and don't just pray for your own salvation, but also for the salvation of those around you.

You see, life can be better. It can get better, and the way to make it so or try to make it so is through God's love and His grace. So pray for it often and you will come to know the love that God freely gives to all.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the guidance you have given me in my life. Help me to understand what the direction for my life should. Help me to fight the temptation to get swallowed up in earthly desires. Help me to fight the madness within me and seek the power of your Love. I thank you for all your many blessings. Amen.

Benediction: Now, Lord, Bless us in our daily lives. Help us to smell the roses whenever possible, to shine our light on those less fortunate than us, and lead us in the path we should go. For you are the light that keeps our path well lit. Help us to follow it, until we meet you, in a land where milk and honey abound, a place where our most wonderful dreams are fulfilled. Amen.
