Life is a circus. We are the performers. We perform amazing feats everyday. We juggle our time schedules to fit in as much as we can. We walk the tight rope, trying to keep our balance as we get through each day. We fly on the trapeze, constantly hurling ourselves from one task to another. And at the end of the day, we find ourselves clowning around with those we love, noting the smile on their face.

Sometimes, life gets so serious that we often forget about the things that make life a more happy and positive time. How do we make this time we have on this earth happier? By loving others. By taking the time to notice others, and put aside our petty jealousies. In noticing others we see ourselves. Other people can often portray a sameness that we see within ourselves. We are all going along, trying to do our best. But we often fall short, of the one true reason we are on this planet, falling off our high wire into our nets below. That reason is to give to others. To share ourselves with others. A smile is a good start. A hello is also good. Simple gestures such as this allow others to feel less stressed. It's when we center ourselves on ourselves, we become more stressed out. But when we give of ourselves freely to others, that's when the stress of each day is lessened, and we are able to get back up the ladder to our high wire, and try again.

God put us on this earth for a purpose. This purpose has eluded mankind for all the generations. What is God's purpose for our lives. Should we do a trapeze act, constantly shifting out attentions from one thing to another? Should we travel the high wire, hoping we won't lose our balance?

Sometimes life can be so stressful, that we find ourselves with our head stuck in the lions mouth, hoping the lion won't bite down. To tame the lion within all of us, we need to first see that prayer is the most important act that we can practice. We are always safe when we give of ourselves, and also when we pray to God for guidance.

The greatest show on earth is when we take the love that God has given to us, and give it to others. So in the week ahead, be God's human cannonball and spread some cheer to all with your warm smile and cheery hello.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for all the love that you have given us. Help us to spread that love by giving it to others. Help the stresses of daily life to be lessened by your love, and thank you for the miracle of Jesus Christ and his message of love for all of us. Amen.

Benediction: Now, Lord, Bless us in our daily lives. Help us to smell the roses whenever possible, to shine our light on those less fortunate than us, and lead us in the path we should go. For you are the light that keeps our path well lit. Help us to follow it, until we meet you, in a land where milk and honey abound, a place where our most wonderful dreams are fulfilled. Amen.

Hi, my name is Bryan, a messenger of hope who would love to hear from you. God Bless.
