It is a beautiful 74 degrees Fahrenheit outside and the Spring sun is shining. The grass is green and the trees are almost listless, barely moving at all despite the slight cool breeze. But guess what? There is probably somebody inside feeling depressed like the world has done them so many wrongs that they can't count them all.

It's people like this that are not aware of the beauty in this world. It is so apparent, but people often ignore it because it won't give them any financial gain that they are aware of. It won't put food on the table unless it is farmland or cows. It won't solve your problems, at least not that you aware of.

But yet nature is out there and it may have answers you are not aware of. There are so many secrets to the outside creation of God, but we are often blinded to the possibilities because we are too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off to notice all the possibilities.

But what are the possibilities? Well you won't know until you go to God in prayer and ask Him about the things you want to know about. He has the answers and He is waiting for you to call on Him for guidance and understanding.

During Medieval times, archers used trees to make their weapons of war and self-defense. Granted, not a good way of using nature, but still a way. Nowadays though soldiers use technology and have almost forgotten what nature can do for them.

It is so easy to fall victim to technology and forget what God has given us. He has blessed us in many ways that we are not aware of. There are those that go to Him in prayer and may wait days, or weeks or even months for an answer not realizing that there are a lot of questions that can be answered through observations of Gods creation. But we are too blinded by what technology has given us that we do not see what is around us.

But we can be more aware. We can see what is right in front of us. But we have to make the effort. Sometimes that effort has been replaced by what technology has to offer. Now I am not saying that technology has no merit and that it is evil. I am only saying that technology can keep us from seeing what God has created. We need to see His creation around us and find the answers to questions we often ask ourselves.

I have heard it said that if you tell yourself you can't find an item in your house, no matter how many times your eyes see it it, you will think you can't find it. The reason being is that you repeatedly tell yourself you can't find it so your brain links up that it can't possibly be in your house even though your eyes have glazed over the item many times.

Scary thought when you think about it. It is not that you are an idiot, because you aren't. It's not because you are blind as a bat, because you see it. It is not because you are destined not to find the item, because you are. You just have to stop telling yourself that you can't find it and tell yourself that you will soon find it and chances are you will find it sooner than you think.

Do you ever remember a time when you kept looking for something and you spent a great deal of time looking for it and you couldn't find it? Then sometime later you are looking for something else and then all of a sudden that item you were trying to find before somehow comes into view and you wonder why you weren't able to find it before. Maybe it is because when you were looking for the second item, you kept telling yourself you couldn't find the second item, and so your brain needed to have something to do and it found the the first item. Another scary thought when you think about it.

These two situations are scary because you wonder how you found the first item the second time even when you weren't looking for it. So you could look for a third item, end up telling yourself that can't find it, just so your mind will have something to do which is to find the second item.

The point I am trying to make here is that sometimes the answers to questions we are seeking may elude us because we wonder if the question will ever be answered. We get impatient and in our impatience we miss out on a lot of things we don't even realize. And the way to keep from missing out on these treasures is to settle down, stop what you are doing and seek God's guidance. Don't just pray but think deeply about the possibilities of an answer. Give your time to God and He will reward you with many treasures and your life will be better for it.

You just have to make the effort. Don't just pray, think about the response as well. Don't let technology make you a lazy Christian. Don't let the modern conveniences of today keep you from seeing nature in the way God intended. Let God be a part of your life and you will be rewarded in ways you never thought possible.

Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes I let the modern conveniences of today keep me from seeing you in the proper light. At these times wake me up and give me guidance and insight into how to solve my problems and dilemmas. Help me to help others to find the answers to questions they ask. Because through helping others seek your guidance I may just find my answers along the way. Help my journey this week be full of your love and help me find the treasures that you give to all of us through the beauty of your creation. I thank you, Lord, for all your many blessings. Amen.

Benediction: Now, Lord, Bless us in our daily lives. Help us to smell the roses whenever possible, to shine our light on those less fortunate than us, and lead us in the path we should go. For you are the light that keeps our path well lit. Help us to follow it, until we meet you, in a land where milk and honey abound, a place where our most wonderful dreams are fulfilled. Amen.

Hi, my name is Bryan, a messenger of hope who would love to hear from you. God Bless.
